Ce livre a été
écrit par une chorégraphe japonaise qui a quitté
le Japon il a douze ans pour s’installer à Paris, France.
Cet ouvrage de 232 pages, comprenant 110 dessins explicatifs et 38 photographies,
aborde différents aspects historiques et pédagogiques
de la danse Butô, tout en reposant sur l'expérience pragmatique
de la danseuse et la vision de la chorégraphe.

Nous sommes à la recherche d'une maison d'édition en France (de préférence spécialisée en danse ou arts de la scène) pour la publication de ce livre.La traduction en français est en cours et sera finalisée en février 2011 au plus tard. |

This book was written by a Japanese choreographer
who has left Japan twelve years ago to settle in Paris, France. The 232
pages work contains 110 drawings and 38 pictures. It covers different
historical and educational aspects of Butoh, whilst relying on the concrete
experience of the dancer and the vision of the choreographer.

WANTED Dance Company NUBA is looking for a Japanese to English translator in view of the publication of a book in the USA, UK and Australia. "Dance training in the Alishina Method" is a book about the techniques of Butoh dance and Japanese traditional dance. This book was published in Japan in 2010 and will be published in France in 2011. You must be an English native speaker able to speak French, with knowledge about dance. Previous work experience in the field of publishing preferred. Contact us |
